On a sunny evening in November of 1994, Famo was introduced to the world we call home. Growing up in South Texas, he wasn’t surrounded by art much and spent most of his time doodling in classes at school, playing video games, or watching cartoons when at home.
In 2018, Famo graduated from University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Studio Art. However, it wasn’t until 2020, after being laid off from his desk job because of the pandemic, that Famo started to really consider art as a full-time career. Determined to not have to go back to working at a desk, he started creating work on a daily basis and the rest is… Well, it’s not history just yet.
It didn’t take long before one of Famo’s works went viral on Instagram. Being shared by multiple large accounts, brought in an influx of new followers and new art collectors as well. Not to mention, multiple collaboration opportunities.
These collaborations include: Creating a hoodie for known alternative band, Pierce The Veil and Hot Topic, creating WWE superstar Bayley’s fighting gear, creating the label for a special wine by Rigour and Whimsy, creating an advertisement for fashion brand Bimba Y Lola, and more.
Famo’s artwork is now in art collections worldwide.
