Caroline Gonzales: "White Florals: collector series"

Each of the 40 available 8in x 8in paintings is a completely unique, 1 of 1 original acrylic painting on canvas. Every piece features its own combination of colorful backgrounds, movement, patterns, and hand-painted white floral designs making no two paintings exactly alike.

My White Floral Series began in 2016 as a gift to my mom after she stepped into the role of caretaker for my dad during his battle with Parkinson’s. Through these paintings, I wanted to reflect the transparency, fragility, and beauty of the human soul while the world around us feels chaotic and uncertain.

The colorful backgrounds represent movement, emotion, and the unpredictability of life, while the white florals symbolize strength, vulnerability, healing, and the ability to rise above difficult moments while remaining true to ourselves.

This month marks three years since the passing of my dad, and releasing these 40 paintings feels deeply connected to my grieving, reflection, and appreciation for the love he gave to our family and the world around him. My hope is that viewers can find pieces of their own story, emotions, and resilience within these florals.
